There were many peacocks to photograph while we were on vacation in Jamaica. As a group we were fascinated by the ones giving us a full feathered show. I have many photographs of them in all their glory and I look foward to painting one like that soon. However, the amazing rich colored beauty of the peacock's closed feathers is also a sight to see and I found it to be delicious to paint. Here we glimse a sight that seems beyond belief in its unnatural beauty.

I spotted this peacock on a branch in a park in northern Florida. I didn't know that they could really fly until I saw him.
